Snowing in Athens

It's snowing in Athens. The yearly randvous with the snow is done.
It has been snowing since yesterday evening, 10p.m.We woke up this morning and everything was in white, in a beautiful white.

For us staying in our homes snow is something nice but for those who work outside, who stayed all the night at national roads without help, snow is a terrible thing. And this because of the bad organisation of the authorities to keep the national road open...anyway. I will talk about the good side of snowing.

When we were childern we always wanted to play with the snow but nowadays snowing in Athens seems to be something bad. All the mass media, tv, press have bombed us with messages about the dangerous of the snow. People have been terrified and all of us feel like living in Sibiria.The propaganda of the media worked fine.Its funny, knowing that people form the rest of Greece, especially from mountain villages are laughing with the citizens of Athens who can not afford the snow even for one day. We're unbelievable.

As far about me, I'm thinking of the time being back to my home and playing with the snow.Everything is white there...like living in a winder ski resort.
So, enjoy this day without panic and terror.

2006 year is here

Never is late for wishes...so.Happy New Year dear friends.

We had a great time on Christma's period and enjoyed it alot. Finally, we stayed at Agrinio on Christma's and new year eve. Eleni gave me a nice gift, a very good parfume called M7 and i choose for a her a hand bag...Seeems she liked it

Last weekend we vsited our friends Kostas and Ria in Argos and stayed there on saturday night. Their son John had his name day and it was a chance for us to visit them. Kostas had the firplace ready for barbeque and we grilled some pork, lamp and sausages. Too many for our stomach and we had a great dinner. Me and kostas grilled the meat at the fireplace, Eleni and Ria prepared the table, salats, fried potatoes.cheece and etc. Imagine all these with a very good local red wine...The result was delicious!!!

We came back on Sunday afternoom....

On Monday we had one of the best days...We enjoyed it...
