Nameday

Some days passed from my nameday but now i found time to write about it.

Although we had a car accident two days before my nameday, me and Eleni decided to celebrate it.At this point i want to thank you Eleni for all she did those days.

My father from Agrinio visited us, my sister Areti, her little baby Petros and daughter Sophi and my brother Christos came to see us. Beside them, my friends Xaris and Jenny,Panagiotis and Maria, Kostas and Ria came. We had had a great time and after sitting on the sofa, talking and chatting we took our dinner.

The dinner was delicious and Eleni did her best. She cooked pork and lamp with potatoes oven, boiled beef with red saus, rice, cheece pie and sausages pies, chicken pie(Areti's offer), feta cheece, "graviera" cretan cheece, season's salats and red wine, made by my father in law. Everybody enjoyed the meal and the "baglava", Eleni made. Our friends stayed till 1am and then we had to clean everything but nothing compare of making our people having a good time.

Car accident

Last Monday, on 24th Oct., i had a car accident.

I was driving at Attiki odos, left line when suddenly a car stopped in frond of me, then i stopped my car and as a result another car, a Jeep crashed behind me.It was his fault and he hit us with about 80km. We felt the hit, me and Eleni and since then we have some neck problems.The police came for typical reasons and the driver of the jeep, aggried was his fault and made a positive statemnt at his insurance to cover my car damages. The car repaired but the experience was bad...

It is true that Attiki odos has a huge traffic, especially in the mornings and most of drivers are stupid. The fact is that after this accident we have some health problems which i hope to overcome soon.

New furniture

This morning we received our new sofa complex.Two sizes, the big one and the middle one.We're very satisfied and happy with this buying, especially Eleni feels really nice and this because she was insisted on buying new sofa. They feet well at living room and now we're going for new carpets.

As you can imagine, we're changing some things in our flat and hope, soon, everything will be ready.Winder is coming and as Eleni said: we must be ready to enjoy this period and enjoy the new flat. I understand her, as a woman cares alot for these things and although sometimes i disagree...at last i accept how right she was.

Next step is to invite some friends to come to our home, maybe watching a DVD film or playing some table games.Monopoly is a good idea and i will try to cook for them, maybe a pasta(i will let Eleni enjoy her friends company).

Agrinio weekend

This afternoom, me and Eleni, are going to Agrinio. We will see my parents, sisters etc. and on Sunday we have to go on a Christening. A time to meet brothers, sisters bothers in Law and the rest of the family.

After i got married, i go to marriages of friends or go to Christening of childs. Before i got married, i used to say to my friend Kostas, that almost every weekend he was going to a marriage.But, since i got marriage and some time before, i do the same. Something happen to people when they got married. Maybe one of these are the multisocial events, with the whole family. Either from my side family or my lovely's wife cousinage.I like these events, time to see people you love and have a goot time with them.

Time to go, for a trip to Agrinio.

e-metrics

The biggest on line survey onto greek internet started yesterday. It's the e-metrics and we all, AGB & Phaistos, are expecting more users than last year(20,007 completed questionnaires). It will be running for a month and participate 32 websites. This year, a website designed in order to support the survey. A pop up banner is the advertising tool and users who click on it, visit a microsite.
There are many information about the research, the sites, the sponsors and the user can click into questionnaire.

We hope that after editing the data, we will make some conclusions about the profile of internet user, the internet usage,the e-banking, the e-commerce and comparing this year results with last year's data we will make useful results.

So, let's let internet users speak...

Deadlines

These days, in our office, we prepare a project - a survey about internet users. We have to finish it before Friday and we coordinate with George's company in order to complete it. I've been talking to George, Dimitris and other people in Phaistos for the last 10 days and i feel i presure them alot. It's true, some times i ask from them to make things quickly, although i know they're really busy with other projects as well.

Having this example on our mind, just to consider how many times each of us make other peoples's life difficult sometimes, especially when there is a deadline at work. Eventhough, i try to be kind and nice with my job cooperators, i know sometimes i slop the limits.Thus, it's better to be more patient and gentry with our collegues at office.This will affect the productivity and the result will be definitely positive. At the end, just to say...Thanks George for your help and patient on project.

Les Miserables

I've just watched on tv "The Miserables" (DVD version) and feel wonderful. What a music, what a story, what a musical...

It was in london in 1998, when i saw "The Miserables" at Palace theatre. I was a student and leaving in london for a year i had the chance ti see some plays and musicals.One of these was, Victor Hugo fantastic novel. After seeing it i was really exctited with the whole performance. Nothing compare to it and for me was something unique. Since then, every time i see it on tv, i feel almost the same. It is a game for feelings. Feelings change as the story goes on...Sadness, hapinness and at last hope for a better world. The fight between good and bad, law and ethics, reach and poor...new and old world.

Victor Hugo wrote a fabulous book and Jean Vajean's words are the hope for every soule, the hope for humanity..."to love another face, is to see the Face of God".
